Job Description
Based in Horsham, my client, a well-established and reputable nursery is looking to recruit a Nursery Chef to join their friendly, supportive and welcoming team.
Main Duties:
- To ensure all children’s dietary needs are being consistently met.
- To ensure high standard of hygiene, health and safety are maintained.
- Daily cleaning of the kitchen, including the floors, walls and countertops.
- Preparing plates and cutlery for all rooms at mealtimes.
- Collection of dirty dishes from rooms, to wash and put them away accordingly.
- To demonstrate the nursery values in everything you do.
- Check that all kitchen paperwork is fully complete, accurate and up to date.
- Monitor catering standards to maintain the highest levels of practice
- To be passionate regarding nutritious and tasty food.

Qualifications and Experiences:
- Previous experience in catering
- Previous management experience
- A team player with a can-do attitude
- A flexible approach to working
- Experience preparing menus
Location: Horsham
Salary: £25,000.00 – £30,000.00
Hours: 40 hours per week Monday-Friday between the hours of 7.30am – 6.30pm
