Job Description
Based in East Molesey, my client is looking to recruit a Chef for the busy thriving nursery and pre school.
The role would suit someone who understands the importance of nutrition and nourishment for young children. You will need to be able to easily spot choking hazards and ensure food is cut correctly for small children, come up with a delicious menu for the children and be confident in understanding different dietary requirements.
Main Duties:
- Ensuring all children’s dietary needs are being met
- Ensure high standard of hygiene, health and safety are maintained
- Daily cleaning such as floors, walls and countertops
- Prepare plates / cutlery for all rooms at mealtimes
- Collect all dirty dishes from rooms, wash and put them away
- Make and deliver nutritious and tasty food
Person spec
- Level 3 food hygiene certificate
- Previous experience working within catering
Hours: 40 hours over Monday to Friday 7.30am – 4.30pm
Location: East Molesey
Salary : £25000 – £32000 depending on hours and experience
